The Lakeland Rifle and Pistol Club was founded in 1968. It is located on 28 acres in East Lakeland, Florida. Handgun and rifle range facilities include a 100 yard range, a 50 yard range with the capability of posting targets at 25 yards and a 7 yard training range
Shotgun range facilities include trap, skeet, 5 stand and a sporting clays field.
The club exists for the encouragement of organized shooting sports, the education and
training of the community in the principles of safe firearm handling and the pursuit of excellence in marksmanship. Members of the Lakeland Rifle and Pistol Club enjoy many opportunities to participate in a variety of club activities and shooting events.
- Becoming a member in the Lakeland Rifle and Pistol club is a process. Prospective members must submit a membership application and pay an application fee of $200. Each prospective member must participate in two club sponsored activities and a minimum of two shooting events. Prospective members must also complete the Club’s Range Safety Training Program, pass a background test, and pass the Club’s Range Safety Training Test.
