Wearing of member badge is required when at the range-exception is meetings |

|
|
|
If any unsafe condition is observed, it should be stopped and reported to LRPC Board |

|

|
|
If anyone is observed by another member shooting at targets other than paper, they should be stopped and reported to the board. |
|
|
|
|
|
All shooters and people close to shooters must wear eye and hearing protection |
|
|
|
|
|
All shooters and shooting guests must sign in prior to shooting and sign out after shooting. |
|
|
|
|
|
Maximum number of two shooting guests per member, they must be under member's supervision |
|
|
|
|
|
After shooting, return target frame back to rack in target house. At practice range, return frame to under cover. |
|
|
|
|
|
Last shooter must lock up target house. |
|
|
|
|
|
Each shooting group is responsible for supplying targets and cleaning up their brass and trash. |

|
|
|

| 50 AND 100 YARD RANGES |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Under no circumstances will a loaded gun be brought to a line. Loaded carry guns will remain in the vehicle. |
|
|
|
|
|
Before removing your unloaded gun from your vehicle find out if line if hot or cold. |
|
|
|
|
|
You may bring your unloaded gun to the line, or remove your unloaded gun, only after the line has been called hot. |
|
|
|
|
|
Unloaded cased guns may be brought forward and placed behind the red line. The case will remain closed until the line is called hot. |
|
|
|
|
|
Shooting and handling of guns is allowed only under the hot condition. |
|
|
|
|
|
No one is allowed beyond the yellow line painted on the concrete when the line is hot. |
|
|
|
|
|
When shooting all barrels must extend beyond the yellow line. |
|
|
|
|
|
To call the range cold all guns must be made safe by unloading them and placing them on the bench with actions open, magazines out |
|
|
|
|
|
and cylinders open. - When the line has been made safe, move behind the red line painted on the concrete |
|
|
|
|
|
When all guns have been made safe and everyone is behind the red line, the line can then be called cold. |
|
|
|
|
|
Shooters can then go down range to score and post targets. Anyone not going down range must stay behind the red line |
|
|
|
|
|
There is absolutely no gun handling while the line is called cold. |
|
|
|
|
|
50 yard-Shooting from the prone position is restricted targets posted at the 50 yard line. |
|
|
|
|
|
Bullet impact-If you cannot determine your bullets are impacting center portion of target, stop shooting and resight at appropriate range |
|
|
|
|
|
Shooting at targets closer than the official 25/50 and 100 yard positions is absolutely prohibited due to richochet hazard. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| SHOTGUN RANGES |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
5 stand and hunting clays are primarily used for matches and leagues, special rules apply. |
|
|
|
|
|
Shooting at hand thrown clay birds is not allowed anywhere on LRPC property |
|
|
|
|
|
Maximum shot size is 7-1/2 |
|
|
|
|
|
All shooters and people close to shooters must wear eye and hearing protection |

|
|
Shotguns transported from your vehicle to the range must be unloaded |
|
|
|
|
|
Place your unloaded gun in the gun rack provided until ready for use |
|
|
|
|
|
When moving from station to station at various ranges, your gun will remain unloaded until ready to shoot. |
|
|
|
|
|
All shooters and shooting guests must sign in prior to shooting and sign out after shooting. |

|

The patterning board located at the skeet range may not be used while anyone is shooting skeet. |

|
Shooters are responsible for cleaning up after themselves, this includes shotshell hulls. |

|
|
|
There is a fee for each round of trap, skeet, etc to reimburse the club. |
|
|
|
|
|
You may pay the club administrator, or deposit the fee in boxes located in the clubhouse and at ranges. |
|
|
|
|
|
When finished, retrieve cables, turn off power, push release button, close sliding doors/covers and secure houses. |
|
|
|
|
|
Refer to separate instructions for operating and reloading machines. If in doubt, get assistance to prevent serious injury. |
